Mail categories, deleting single mails and the retention rules, battle reports and sharing, reward mails, castle/population gifts, the casualty pack, maintenance announcements, player and guild messages.
Everything important that happens in the game lands in your Mail: battle reports, march returns, finished construction, rewards and messages from other players. You open Mail with the envelope icon in the top bar. The red badge on the icon shows the number of unread mails and messages.
Categories
Mail is divided into five tabs:
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| ⚜️ Guild | Guild events and messages sent to the guild |
| ✉️ Personal | Messages other players sent you |
| ⚔️ Battle | PvP attack and defense reports, camp battles, boss attacks (lair, Titan, Black Titan, Barbarian raid, Hades and the Vanguard) |
| 🌾 Gathering | Gathering march returns and items dropped on the march |
| 📜 System | Finished construction, castle, wall, tower and research, and reward mails from the game team |
Each tab has its own unread badge. Unread mails are marked with a gold strip on the left of the list. When you tap a mail, the tabs stay in place and the details open on the same screen. Use the back button to return to the list.
Deleting and retention
- Deleting one mail: every mail in the list has a red ✕ next to it; tapping it deletes only that mail. Unclaimed reward mails don't have an ✕ (claim the reward first).
- Deleting all: the ⌫ button in the top bar clears all of the game's own mails (battle, gathering, system notifications) at once; player messages and reward mails aren't deleted.
The mailbox also cleans itself up:
| When is it deleted? | |
|---|---|
| Read mails and messages | 24 hours after being read |
| Unread mail | The oldest ones, once unread mails exceed 50 |
| Unclaimed reward mail | After 5 days |
Reward mails don't count toward the unread limit; you just need to claim them within 5 days.
Battle reports
A battle report tells you the full story of a battle:
- Result: Victory or defeat. In boss attacks, if you didn't destroy the target, the report says "DAMAGE DEALT". This doesn't count as a defeat.
- Your army: Troops sent, returned, killed and wounded, unit by unit.
- Enemy army: The other side's units and losses.
- Round-by-round damage: Shows who dealt how much damage in each round. A regular battle is 5 rounds and only archers fire in the first round. A city battle lasts up to 8 rounds and each round's phase is shown with an icon: ⚔️ outside the castle, 🧱 walls, 🏰 castle assault.
- Battle notes: In a city battle, the remaining HP of the walls and towers, the defender's losses outside the castle / in the garrison / among tower archers, and a short summary.
- Loot: The resources you won and the items that dropped.
- Commander: The hero who led the army and the XP they earned.
If troops died because your hospital was full, the report warns you separately.
💡 Tip: Check the round-by-round damage table of a battle you lost. Seeing which round you fell behind in is the fastest way to fix your unit mix.
Which reports can be shared?
Only reports of these battles can be shared:
- PvP: an attack on a player city (a solo attack or a city rally)
- Attacks on Hades' Fortress
Reports from camps, dragon lairs, the Titan, the Black Titan, Barbarian raids, Ancient Fortresses and the Hades Vanguard can't be shared.
How long reports are kept
| Report | Retention |
|---|---|
| PvP and Hades | Permanent, the link always opens |
| All other battles | Deleted from the server after 7 days |
The defender's report
When your city is attacked, you get a report too. It's the same battle as the attacker's, but shown from your side: your army, your losses (on defense your losses are wounded; only those that don't fit in the hospital die) and the attacking army you faced.
Ways to share
Shareable reports have two options:
- Share Battle Report: opens a message draft containing the report's link. You can send it to a player or to your guild; when the recipient taps the link, they see the report full-screen in the game.
- Web link: opens a public web page for the report. Even someone who hasn't installed the game can view the report in a browser. You can copy the link and share it on social media or in chats; in chat apps it shows a preview such as "A won a victory against B!". If an older report has no link, you can create one with the Create Web Link button.
The link ends with /r/ and a short report ID. In new reports the ID starts with the year and month of the battle: for example, /r/2610Ab3xK9pQ is a battle from October 2026.
Reward mails
The game team sends rewarding system mails from time to time: apology gifts after maintenance, event rewards or compensation for things you lost due to a bug. These mails:
- Appear in the System tab like normal mails and carry the unread badge.
- Can contain resources, gems, items and even a hero.
- The rewards inside go to your account when you tap "Claim Rewards". Once you've claimed the reward, the mail leaves the list.
Some reward mails are sent to a specific kingdom, others to all kingdoms. Since gems are kingdom-specific, gems in a mail are added to the wallet of the kingdom where you open the mail. Announcement mails without rewards (e.g. scheduled maintenance) only have an OK button.
If a new reward mail arrives while you're in the game, you instantly see a 🎁 notification on screen.
Castle and population gifts 🎁
When your castle reaches certain levels in a kingdom, or your most populous city reaches certain populations, a gift mail arrives in the System tab. Each tier is given once per kingdom; tiers you passed before this feature arrived are also given retroactively.
"All resources" means the stated number of each of the food, wood, stone, iron, gold and science packs.

Casualty pack 🩹
If your city loses a large part of its defensive strength in an attack (losses worth at least about 1,500 swordsmen), you receive a casualty pack. The pack comes in three tiers based on how big your loss was, and at least 24 hours must pass between two packs:
| Tier | Loss rate | Pack |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy Loss | 25%+ | 8-hour shield · medium pack of all resources ×2 · Healing 1 h ×2 · Training 1 h ×1 |
| Great Devastation | 50%+ | 8-hour shield · large + medium pack of all resources ×1 · Healing 1 h ×4 · Training 1 h ×2 |
| Catastrophe | 75%+ | 8-hour shield · large pack of all resources ×2 · Healing 8 h ×2 + 1 h ×4 · Training 8 h ×1 + 1 h ×3 |
"All resources" in the casualty pack means food, wood, stone, iron and gold (no science).
Camp milestones 🏕️
Every time the highest camp level you've defeated in a kingdom reaches a multiple of 25 (25, 50, 75, 100 …), you get a reward mail with gems, and all members of your guild get a shared reward in the Guild ▸ Rewards tab. Each milestone is given once per kingdom.
| Milestone | Your reward |
|---|---|
| Lv25 | 100 💎 · General 3 h ×2 · Victory Medal ×2 · Bronze Chest ×2 · Silver Bag ×1 |
| Lv50 | 250 💎 · General 8 h ×2 · Victory Medal ×4 · Silver Chest ×2 · Gold Bag ×1 |
| Lv75 | 500 💎 · General 24 h ×1 + 8 h ×2 · Heroic Saga ×2 · Gold Chest ×1 · Gold Bag ×2 |
| Lv100 and beyond | 1,000 💎 · General 24 h ×3 · Heroic Saga ×4 · Gold Chest ×3 · Gold Bag ×3 · Dragon Egg ×1 |
Scheduled maintenance announcement 🛠️
When the game team plans maintenance, all players may receive a System mail announcing the maintenance's start day, time (Turkey time), duration and end. When maintenance starts, a maintenance screen opens in the middle of the game showing the time remaining; your city keeps producing meanwhile. During maintenance battles aren't resolved, and marches on the road, rallies, reinforcement armies and shields are extended by the length of the maintenance. When maintenance ends, the game reconnects by itself.
Player and guild messages
You write messages with the ✏️ New Message button at the top of the Mail screen. Every message has a Subject and a Message field:
- Subject: up to 120 characters
- Message: up to 2,000 characters
Message to a player
With the "To player" option, you type the recipient's in-game name. You can send to several recipients at once: separate the names with commas. You can enter up to 10 recipients. Names that can't be found are reported separately; the message still goes to the players that were found.
Player messages are tied to your account, so they appear in your inbox whichever kingdom you're in.
Message to the guild
With the "To guild" option, your message goes to all members of your guild. It lands in the Guild tab of the members' Mail.
Reply and forward
When you open a player message, you see two buttons:
- Reply: The recipient is automatically set to the sender, and "Re:" is added to the start of the subject.
- Forward: The message content is copied and "Fwd:" is added to the start of the subject. You only type the new recipient.
If a new message arrives while you're in the game, a 📨 notification appears on screen instantly. The Mail badge updates right away too.
