⚔️ Hades Legion
A solo battle that opens when Hades is defeated for the 3rd time and lasts until the kingdom closes; a single army the whole kingdom attacks, attack charges, detachment battles, an ever-strengthening legion, damage points, top-10 rewards and the conquerors' wait.
The Hades Legion is a solo battle event that opens when Hades' Fortress is defeated for the 3rd time and lasts until the kingdom closes (7 days). Hades' conquerors can join too; everyone starts at the same time. Everyone in the kingdom attacks the same single army. There are no rallies: you fight with your own army only and collect damage points for every soldier you kill. In the end, the 10 players who dealt the most damage are rewarded.
Every kingdom has a Legion. Its default name is the Tartarus Legion; its name and size may vary by kingdom.
When?
| Moment | What happens? |
|---|---|
| Hades' 1st defeat | The Legion battle opens. |
| Hades' 3rd defeat | The Legion battle closes and the top 10 receive their rewards. |
The Legion panel is on the Hades page, below Hades' status. While the Legion isn't open, the attack button doesn't work.
How to attack
- You pick 1, 2 or 3 armies, each with its own commander hero. Each army fights separately.
- Each army costs 10 energy and 1 attack charge.
- Marching doesn't depend on your position: your army arrives in about 60 seconds. Legion marches count toward your simultaneous march limit.
- The result lands in your Battle mail with the title "⚔️ … +N damage".
Attack charges
| Base | Max with guild technology | |
|---|---|---|
| Charges refilled per day | 10 | 20 |
| Max charges you can store | 30 | 80 |
- Charges refill continuously over time; refilling stops when you hit the storage cap.
- Your charges are increased only by guild technologies. These sit at the end of the guild army branch: Legion Command unlocks after Moat and Stonemasons; Drill and Stores unlock after Command. They're expensive on purpose.
- Legion Command: daily charges +0.5/level (up to 10 levels).
- Legion Drill: daily charges +0.5/level (up to 10 levels).
- Legion Stores: storage cap +5/level (up to 10 levels).
- The panel shows "🎟️ Attack charges n/cap · d per day" and when the next charge will fill. If you don't have enough charges, the button stays disabled.
Detachment battles
In each attack you don't face the whole legion but a detachment 3 times the size of your army. If the legion has fewer troops left than that, all the remaining ones fight. This keeps the battle fair, and your progress scales with your army's strength. Legion soldiers that die in the detachment are removed from the legion permanently.
The Legion's strength
The Legion is an army that's far tougher than Hades' garrison but hits less hard:
- Each legion soldier has 16 times the HP and defense; they're hard to kill.
- The damage they deal is low, though (0.2× a normal soldier).
- The army is mostly swordsmen, spearmen, archers and cavalry; there are few siege weapons and few paladins, and no dragons.
So it's important that your army can hit tough units. For example, a 20,000-troop army on the day the battle opens:
| Army | Losses inflicted on the Legion | Own losses |
|---|---|---|
| Mixed army | about 0.17× its own size | about 60% |
| Paladin-heavy army | about 1.7× its own size | about 6% |
💡 Tip: Send paladin-heavy armies to the Legion. A mixed army suffers heavy losses and earns few points.
It keeps getting stronger
The Legion doesn't weaken while it waits — it gets stronger:
- Recovery: losses inflicted on it come back linearly over 24 hours.
- Growth: from the day it opens, its total troops grow +5% and its toughness +3% every day.
- Leveling up: if the legion is completely destroyed, it immediately respawns one level higher at full strength. Each level, troops grow ×1.25 and toughness rises by +4.
The panel shows the legion's level, toughness and remaining army with a bar.
Losses and points
- Your losses work like PvP: some troops die and the rest go to the hospital as wounded. Death-reducing skills and technologies help here too.
- Your damage points = the points of the legion soldiers you killed. Killing strong units gives more points.
- The panel shows your own points and rank, plus the "🏆 Top damage dealers" list.
Rewards
When the kingdom closes and the legion ends, the 10 players who dealt the most damage get rewards by mail:
| Rank | Gems | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 5,000 | 5 Gold Chests · 5 Gold Bags · 3 Dragon Eggs · 5 × General Speedup 24 Hours · 3 War Drums |
| 2nd | 3,000 | 3 Gold Chests · 3 Gold Bags · 2 Dragon Eggs · 3 × General Speedup 24 Hours · 2 War Drums |
| 3rd | 2,000 | 2 Gold Chests · 2 Gold Bags · 1 Dragon Egg · 2 × General Speedup 24 Hours · 1 War Drum |
| 4th–10th | 1,000 → 400 (−100 per rank) | 3 Silver Chests · 3 Silver Bags · 1 × General Speedup 24 Hours |
In the Prize Kingdom, the top 10 of the legion ranking also get a share of the cash prize.
Hades' conquerors wait for the Legion
The conquerors are decided at Hades' 3rd death (the top 3 guilds by total damage), and the Legion opens at that moment:
- Members of the conquering guilds can't make PvP, rally, Titan, dragon lair, vanguard or camp attacks.
- But they can attack the Hades Legion, and their armies are not deleted.
- When the kingdom closes 7 days later, the members are removed from the kingdom (their cities remain).
