⛏️ Gathering Nodes
Guild gathering nodes and your own gathering marches; setup, capacity, dispatching, Send All (VIP), speed, carrying, return, the treasury share and item drops.
Gathering means sending your army to a resource node and carrying resources back to your city. There are two kinds of nodes: your guild's shared gathering nodes and the personal gathering nodes in your own camp area. Both follow the same basic rules, but guild nodes are much bigger and are gathered faster.
Guild gathering nodes
Setup
- A guild can build one node of each resource: food, wood, stone, iron and gold.
- A member with management permission builds the node; the cost is paid from the guild treasury, in the node's own resource.
- Cost: 50,000 + level × 10,000 (60,000 for a Lv1 node).
- Time: 2 hours + level × 20 minutes. The time can be shortened with the guild's construction time pool and members' ads.
- While the node is being built it shows "Under construction"; when the time is up it opens at Lv1 and fills up.
Capacity and rebuilding
| Node level | Capacity |
|---|---|
| Lv1 | 1,000,000 |
| Lv2 | 2,000,000 |
| Lv5 | 5,000,000 |
Capacity is level × 1 million. When a node is completely emptied, a manager rebuilds it: the cost is again paid from the treasury, and when the rebuild finishes the node goes up a level and its capacity grows by 1 million.
- If armies are still gathering at the node, it can't be rebuilt; all armies must return first.
- The Temple of Demeter makes guild gathering capacity ×5 and gathering speed ×2.
Sending armies
- On the Guild ▸ Gathering screen, select the node and tap Send.
- Pick a hero and army. The march assistant automatically suggests the most efficient idle hero for this resource; you can change it if you like.
- The army reaches the node after a short trip (about 30 seconds, based on the slowest unit) and starts gathering.
Command capacity: a hero can lead at most level × 100 troops (raised by technologies). You can't send more than that.
March limit: how many armies can be out at once depends on the Expedition Camp technology (1 → 6). Gathering, camps, PvP, guild gathering and transfers between cities share the same limit.
Gathering speed and carrying
Gathering speed doesn't depend on the size of your army. What sets the speed:
- The resource's base rate (per second: food 16, wood 10, stone 6, iron 4, gold 3),
- The hero's power (+0.1% per point of power) and gathering skills such as Plunder Master,
- Gathering technologies (e.g. Gathering Tools and Scouting Expeditions in your city, Caravans in the guild),
- A +50% guild gathering bonus on guild nodes.
The army's job is carrying: the more troops, the bigger the load. Carry capacity per unit:
| Unit | Carry |
|---|---|
| Siege Weapon | 150 |
| 🐉 Dragon | 100 |
| Paladin | 25 |
| Swordsman | 15 |
| Spearman | 15 |
| Archer | 12 |
| Cavalry | 10 |
The hero's Quartermaster skill, Caravan Trains and unit-specific carry technologies raise carry capacity.
💡 Tip: Siege weapons are the best gatherers. To gather faster, use a strong hero and gathering skills instead of adding troops.
If your technology improves during a march (e.g. Caravans finishes), the speed of ongoing marches is updated too.
Return
- When your army has gathered as much as it can carry, the march ends automatically; the army, commander and resources are added to your city immediately.
- You can return early at any time with Withdraw; the army comes back with what it has gathered so far, and the rest stays in the node.
- Returns are saved permanently; even if you close the game, your army and its load won't be lost and will be delivered the next time you open it.
Contribution to the guild
- A share equal to 6% of the resources you gather from a guild node goes into the guild treasury.
- Every resource gathered earns the guild a small amount of XP (least for food, most for iron; gold gives no XP).
- It advances the gathering quests in guild quests.
Your own gathering nodes
The gathering nodes in your camp area are personal:
- Capacity: 10,000 + (level − 1) × 5,000 (Lv1 = 10,000, Lv3 = 20,000); scouting technologies raise it further.
- Refill: 15 minutes + 1 minute per level.
- While gathering from these nodes, a share equal to 3% of what you gather goes to the guild treasury as an extra (it isn't deducted from you).
- What you gather here also counts toward guild quests.
⚡ Send All (VIP)
The ⚡ Send All button sends armies to empty nodes with a single tap:
- VIP 8: your own gathering nodes (on the camp screen, in the gathering nodes header).
- VIP 9: your guild's gathering nodes (Guild ▸ Gathering).
The button shares the army out evenly:
- As many idle heroes as you have free march slots are picked, choosing the fastest gatherers (gathering speed × carry).
- The total load those heroes can carry, given their command capacity and the troops in your city, is calculated.
- The total load is split evenly between filled nodes that have no march. The node with the fewest resources left is filled first; the leftover share moves to the other nodes.
- Each node gets the most efficient remaining hero for that resource and the highest-carrying units needed to carry its share.
Example: Your total carry capacity is 5 million and there are 4 empty nodes. If one node has only 500,000 left, a 500,000-capacity army goes there; the remaining 4.5 million is split among the other three nodes at 1.5 million each.
If you have fewer march slots than nodes, the fullest nodes are picked. Sending stops when you run out of march slots, idle heroes or troops.
Item drops
When a gathering march returns, an item may drop by chance:
- Chance: 15% + 1% per node level, at most 45%.
- The gathering pool drops items up to Rare grade:
| Node level | Common | Good | Rare |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lv1 | 60% | 32% | 8% |
| Lv20 and above | 35% | 40% | 25% |
- Possible items: resource packs of the resource you gathered, speedups from 5 minutes to 1 hour, construction/research bank, population, small amounts of energy and hero experience items.
- Shields, teleports, gems, bags, long speedups and attack/defense boosts don't drop from gathering; those come from sources like camps, PvP and Inn chests.
