🌑 Black Titan
The kingdom-wide event boss; HP and healing, attacking with armies (solo, combined, rally), unit armor and the archer round, wounded, final blow and participation rewards.
The Black Titan is a 7-day world event in which everyone in the kingdom attacks the same boss (formerly known as the "World Boss"). It's 4th in the event schedule: it starts 22 days after the kingdom opens and comes back every 28 days (see World Events).
The Black Titan is different from the Guild Titan, your guild's own permanent boss. For the Guild Titan, see the Guild Titan page.
The goal is to deal damage. Every point of damage you deal to the Titan is 1 event point; you don't have to kill it. With your points you claim personal tier rewards and climb the kingdom ranking and the guild race.
HP, healing and respawn
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Starting HP | 50 million |
| On every death | HP grows ×1.5 and the Titan goes up a level |
| Healing | Back to full HP in 24 hours if not attacked (linear) |
| Respawn | When it dies, it respawns immediately, one level higher and at full HP |
| Titan level | HP (approx.) |
|---|---|
| First Titan | 50 million |
| After being killed once | 75 million |
| 2 times | 112.5 million |
| 3 times | 169 million |
| 4 times | 253 million |
| 5 times | 380 million |
HP is shared by everyone in the kingdom. The more often the Titan is attacked, the more its healing is held back.
How to attack
You attack the Black Titan only by sending armies; there's no instant attack.
| Attack | Army | Energy |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | 1 army + hero | 10 |
| Combined | 2–3 of your own armies, each with its own hero | number of armies × 10 × 1.5 (2 armies = 30, 3 armies = 45) |
| Start a rally | Guild rally | 15 |
| Join a rally | Guild rally | 10 |
- Instant attack: solo and combined attacks have no march; the attack happens immediately and the result lands in your Battle mail within a few seconds. Your location doesn't matter. In a rally, armies gather at the rally starter's city; when the joining window ends, the battle happens immediately (only the last army to arrive is waited for).
- The number of armies is chosen from a menu: the Event page has ⚔️ Attack (one army) and ⚔️⚔️ Combined Attack buttons; for a combined attack you pick 2 or 3 armies (with their energy) in the window that opens, the armies are picked in turn, and no questions are asked in between.
- You can't start a march or rally that couldn't arrive before the event ends.
- Solo and combined attacks deal half damage compared with a rally; a rally is the strongest way to hit together as a guild. For rally rules, see the Rally page.
Damage and unit armor
The Titan has the same unit armor as a dragon lair: the damage each unit deals is divided by this number. The fight lasts 5 rounds with a dice roll each round, so the same army deals slightly different damage every time. Your commander hero's power and attack bonuses increase the damage.
Round 1 is the archers' round: the first round carries 12% of the total damage and is struck by the archer share of your army. An army with no archers deals about 12% less damage. The Titan doesn't strike back in this round; your total losses don't change.
| Unit | Damage divisor |
|---|---|
| 🐉 Dragon | ÷1 (most effective) |
| Paladin | ÷2 |
| Spearman | ÷4 |
| Cavalry | ÷4 |
| Swordsman | ÷5 |
| Archer | ÷8 |
| Siege Weapon | ÷10 (least effective) |
💡 Tip: Send dragon- and paladin-heavy armies to the Black Titan. Siege weapons and archers deal very little damage here.
Counterattack: wounded only
Your troops don't die when attacking the Titan; losses go to the hospital as wounded.
- The base wounded rate is 30% for the first Titan and grows by +4% for each Titan level (max 70%).
- In solo and combined attacks this rate is ×1.25; not in rallies.
- The Titan's defense dice (×1.0–1.3) is applied on top; the result can be at most 90%.
- If your hospital is full, the overflow wounded die. Check your hospital space before attacking.
Your commander hero earns XP based on the damage you deal: XP = damage ÷ 100. These attacks don't drop resource or item loot; the rewards come from the event.
Rewards
Final blow reward
Whoever lands the killing blow on the Titan gets an extra reward: in a solo/combined march, the player who landed the last hit; in a rally, every member who joined that rally. The reward grows with the level of the Titan killed and arrives by mail:
| Titan killed | Gold Bag | Healing Speedup 8 Hours | Energy Barrel | General Speedup 24 Hours | Gems |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| First Titan | 1 | 2 | 1 | – | 50 |
| Killed once before | 1 | 3 | 1 | – | 75 |
| 2 times | 1 | 4 | 2 | – | 100 |
| 3 times | 2 | 5 | 2 | 1 | 125 |
| 4 times | 2 | 6 | 3 | 1 | 150 |
| 5 times | 2 | 7 | 3 | 1 | 175 |
| 6 times | 3 | 8 | 4 | 2 | 200 |
Kingdom share on death
Every time the Titan dies, everyone in the kingdom gets a share by mail: General Speedup 1 Hour ×2 + 20 gems. You get it even if you didn't attack.
Participation reward
When the event ends, everyone who dealt damage to the Titan but didn't make the top 100 gets a participation reward: General Speedup 8 Hours ×1 + Silver Bag ×1 + 50 gems. The top 100 get the ranking reward instead.
For personal tier rewards (1 million – 150 million damage), ranking rewards and the guild race, see the World Events page.
